David Borins
David Borins grew up in Toronto and moved to Vancouver in 1992 to pursue an undergraduate and then a law degree at UBC. David has been practicing law for over 20 years. He articled and then practiced at a large BC firm (Farris LLP) for a decade, and then became an equity partner at a national firm (Heenan Blaikie). In 2012, seeking more autonomy over his professional life and greater flexibility in choosing his own clientele and cases, David founded Borins & Company. His practice includes labour law, employment law, administrative law, and litigation. He has significant experience representing individuals, unions, societies, non-share corporations, and unincorporated associations.

Prior to that, he also earned an associate’s degree in applied ethics from Capilano University. During his time there, Jared served on the university senate and was also heavily involved in the local student society, where he was appointed as the external board chair, oversaw the society’s elections and referenda, and later served a term on the board of directors. Jared grew up in Squamish and enjoys visiting there whenever he can.
